Telescope is a Los Angeles-based merchandise design studio known for creating elevated, thoughtful pieces for artists, brands, and creators. When they approached us for a wholesale screen printing project, we knew it would be something special—Telescope’s attention to detail and commitment to bold, art-driven concepts align perfectly with our own values at Apparel Graphics.

This project centered around a design titled "Gentle Rebel", a phrase as soft-spoken as it is powerful. Together, we helped bring their vision to life with high-impact printing techniques and premium garment selection.

High Density Screen Printing with Crystallina Glitter Overlay

To capture the visual weight and emotion behind the Gentle Rebel name, we used a deep black high density screen print as the base. This printing technique builds up thick layers of ink, creating a tactile, raised effect that gives the design structure and presence.

Layered on top is a crystallina glitter overlay—a shimmering accent that catches the light and contrasts beautifully with the bold black base. The combination results in a print that’s multi-dimensional and visually striking, with just the right amount of edge and elegance.

The Garment of Choice

We printed this design on the Comfort Colors 1717 Garment-Dyed Heavyweight Tee in Pepper, a soft washed black tone that pairs effortlessly with the deep ink and glitter finish. Known for its broken-in feel and relaxed fit, the 1717 tee is a favorite for projects that blend artistic expression with laid-back comfort.
